Challenges
& Objectives

/ Project Overview

We collaborated with Gharelu Origins on a comprehensive packaging design project covering a wide range of daily-use products, including Dalle Paste, Jam, Herbal Shops, Tea, Honey, Feni, Bhujiya, Batare, and other regional essentials. The work involved close coordination with sales teams, shopkeepers, and local communities to understand market behavior and consumer preferences. We designed compact, easy-to-read packaging layouts that maintained clarity while fitting within strict size limitations and production requirements.

/ Challenges

  • Accommodating extensive product information within limited packaging dimensions.
  • Maintaining readability and visual appeal with very small font sizes and space constraints.

/ Objectives

  • Create eye-catching packaging that stands out on crowded retail shelves.
  • Ensure clear communication of product details and brand identity.
  • Maintain consistency across multiple product categories and variants.

/ Final Outcome

The final packaging designs were well-received for their bright colors, clear layouts, and strong shelf visibility. The cohesive visual theme helped establish Gharelu Origins as a recognizable and trustworthy brand in local markets. The project was successfully executed across multiple product lines, with high-quality printing and finishing that enhanced overall brand perception.

Creative
Process

We began by conducting on-ground research to understand retail environments, customer behavior, and regional buying patterns. Our team interacted with distributors, shopkeepers, and end-users to gather practical insights for effective packaging design.

  • Market & Field Research – Studying product placement, competitor packaging, and consumer preferences.
  • Information Mapping – Structuring mandatory product details within limited space.
  • Visual Theme Development – Defining color palettes, typography, and cultural elements.
  • Packaging Layout Design – Creating compact, readable, and production-ready designs.
  • Print Testing & Proofing – Reviewing samples to ensure color accuracy and legibility.
  • Production Coordination – Working closely with printers to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Final Deployment – Overseeing mass printing and packaging application.
